Regardless of the style of dance, every dancer relies on flexibility, confidence, and balancing or centering of the body. Yoga improves all of these areas as well as strength, posture, circulation, and purifying the body from toxins.  In addition, yoga enhances stamina which is beneficial to a dancer’s body for overall performance endurance.  All of the poses and stretches we will practice are very therapeutic for the dancer and will facilitate the release of remaining stress, tension, and toxins from the body.
