Omni Yoga in Cary has a schedule full of amazing yoga classes from Dynamic Flow to Mindful Movement and more. But did you know we have some other incredible events happening soon?

We have a passion for sharing the benefits of yoga and helping people develop their own practice based on their needs and desires. Perhaps these extra events will be the perfect match for you.

Here are a few events on our calendar – we hope you’ll add them to your calendar too.

· Yoga for Dancers on Jan 19th. Regardless of the style of dance, every dancer relies on flexibility, confidence, and balancing or centering of the body. Yoga improves all these areas as well as strength, posture, circulation, and purifying the body from toxins. In addition, yoga enhances stamina which is beneficial to a dancer’s body for overall performance endurance. All the poses and stretches we will practice are very therapeutic for the dancer and will facilitate the release of remaining stress, tension, and toxins from the body.

· Chair Yoga Series starting Jan 23. In partnership with You Call This Yoga, Omni Yoga is pleased to offer this Chair Yoga Series taught by Lauren Morris, RYT 200, who teaches for both You Call This Yoga and Omni Yoga. In this series of classes, Lauren will teach you how to use your breath to connect with your body and guide you through a series of postures, some seated and some with the option of standing and using the chair for support, all geared towards achieving specific goals and results. As always, options will be given to accommodate all levels.

· Qigong starting in February. Beginning in February, we will offer qigong weekly on Tuesdays. Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that involves meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises. When compared to yoga, qigong movements are generally more fluid, more subtle, and typically easier for people with physical limitations.

The benefits of yoga are powerful – it unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension, reduces inflammation, and promotes health and well-being. Yoga not only helps improve your body but also helps alleviate stress and enhances all aspects of your life and relationships. Join us at Omni Yoga in Cary!
